Send Your First Message

To send your first message:
Click on Converse Desk to open the messaging interface.
Click on "New Message" to start a new conversation.
Enter the recipient's full name in the provided field.
Enter the recipient's phone number in the designated space.
Select a Sender ID from the drop-down list to choose the number or name the message will come from.
Write your message in the text box or add a pre-saved template for quicker responses.
Click "Send" to deliver the message.
Once sent, you'll see a successful message notification confirming the message was sent.
Go to 'Sent Messages' on the Converse desk to view messages that have been sent.
All the conversations you initiated or replied to will appear in the Sent Messages.
To verify if the message you have sent has successfully gone
Go to message history
View outgoing message
Verify that the sent status indicates "success" and that the delivery status shows "delivered."
1. How many characters can I add?
For messages considered Plain Text by our system, the following specifications apply based on GSM encoding:
Single SMS Message: Allows up to 160 characters.

2. Can I send images or videos?
Yes, you can send media files such as images and videos.
3. Can I send emojis?
Yes, you can include emojis in your messages. However, keep in mind that emojis may change the encoding to Unicode, which can reduce the character limit per message.
4. How can I use a template to send messages?
To use a pre-saved template, open the message composer, click on the template icon, select the template you want, and it will automatically populate the message field.
5. Where can I see the delivery status of the message?
Go to Message History, locate your sent message, and check the status indicators. If the delivery status shows "Delivered," it means the message reached the recipient.
6. Where can I see the sent messages?
You can view all sent messages in the Sent Messages section of the Converse Desk. Here, you’ll find all outgoing conversations you initiated or replied to.
7. What should you do if the message fails?
If a message fails, check for possible reasons like an incorrect phone number, unsupported media type, or network issues. You may retry sending the message or reach out to support if the issue persists.
8. How do I get charged for messages?
Charges apply based on the message type, length, and media usage. Plain text messages incur standard SMS rates, while MMS (multimedia messages) may cost more. Charges may also vary depending on the destination country and the type of message (SMS or MMS). Contact your billing team for detailed rate information.
