## **Troubleshooting Common Issues**

### **1. Connection shows “Not Connected”**

- Check if your Instagram account is a **Business or Creator** account.
- Ensure it’s linked to a **Facebook Page**.
- Try reauthorizing the account by clicking **Add Account** again and completing Facebook login.

### **2. Authorization Failed or Popup Didn’t Open**

- Allow pop-ups in your browser.
- Clear cache/cookies and retry login.
- Make sure you’re logged into the correct Facebook account (one with Page admin access).

### **3. Messages Not Appearing in Converse Desk**

- Confirm message permissions were granted during Facebook authorization.
- Check the **Sender ID list** under Converse Desk → Inbox.
- Verify that the Instagram account is active and not restricted by Meta.

**Q1. Do I need a Facebook Page to connect Instagram?**
Yes. Instagram Business or Creator accounts must be linked to a Facebook Page.

**Q2. Can I connect multiple Instagram accounts?**
Yes. You can connect multiple accounts by clicking **Add Account** for each one.

**Q3. Can I send broadcast messages on Instagram?**
No. Instagram API currently supports only **1:1 messaging**.

**Q4. Why can’t I see my Instagram handle after connection?**
The handle appears only after successful authorization. Refresh the Integration page and check if the status is *Connected.*
